On 30th November Russia’s Supreme Court recognized the “international LGBT movement” as an “extremist organization”. It implies up to 10 year prison sentences, especially for LGBTQ activists and human rights defenders, the scale of planned repressions is inpredictable. 

We decided to urgently expand the program of evacuation of LGBTQ activists under persecution from Russia.

Today we have experienced a dramatic increase in the number of requests. EQUAL PostOst receives up to 12 requests per hour, we see that people are panicking.

In order to deal with tha challenge and save people at risk, we need your support!

Donations will be distributed the following way: 

- 40% will form the fund for emergency evacuation, e.g. flight tickets for LGBTQ activists

- 10% will be spent on the emergency needs of the beneficiaries (namely medicine, hormones, food allowances in urgent cases)

- 20% will be used to support shelters in the countries of temporary residence of the evacuated people

- 30% will be invested into the administrative costs to ensure the functioning of EQUAL PostOst's operations and safety
